"A buyer needs a thousand eyes, a seller but one."  (Italian proverb)

Are you buying or selling a home?
The purchase of a home is probably the most expensive financial endeavor you will ever undertake.  Although you are trying to save all of your money for the down payment and closing costs, do NOT cut corners by deciding to not get a home inspection.  The cost of a home inspection is minimal in relation to the cost of your home.   The last thing you want to do is jeopardize your investment by skipping a home inspection or shopping around for the cheapest inspection you can find.  Like anything else in life, you get what you pay for.   Yes, you can probably find someone who will charge less to inspect your home.  However, you will forego the education, training, experience and nationally recognized competence that you are guaranteed when you choose Missouri Home Inspection Services.  All of our home inspections are thorough and exceed  national Standards of Performance.   And for your convenience, we accept payment by cash, check or credit card.

What is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is a visual inspection of your home's structural components; the electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems; the foundation, roof, attic, exterior siding, interior walls and ceilings, cabinets, appliances, windows, doors and much more.  The inspection provides a snap-shot of the condition of your home at the time of purchase.  A correctly done home inspection is like getting an insurance policy that pays you to not have an accident.  But getting the cheapest inspection you can find is a waste of your money and gives you a false sense of security about your home's condition.

Why do you need a Home Inspection?
Even in new homes, an inspection performed by a qualified home inspector can reveal defects that could cost thousands in repairs.  Being penny wise and pound foolish now could cost you in the long term.  This is especially true here in Central Missouri where few counties and towns have building codes or contractor licensing exams.  Your dream of home ownership can quickly become a nightmare if you don't know what you are buying.  If you ever decide to sell your home, the future buyer of your house may hire an inspector and the repair of any defects identified during the inspection will fall on you.  Don't let this happen to you; know what you are buying before you buy it!

What you get when you choose Missouri Home Inspection Services:
Over 20 years experience in the construction industry
Nationally accredited education and training
Nationally recognized competency as a Certified Residential Building Inspector and Certified Home Inspector
Comprehensive inspections that exceed national Standards of Performance
A detailed out-brief at the completion of the inspection
An easily understood narrative inspection report the next business day
